Abstracts - Instructions
These instructions can be accessed at any time from the
Abstract Submission System by clicking “see instructions”.
The Abstract Submission System is accessed
here:
To use the abstract submission system you must first register as a
user. You will then receive an access key which will enable you to
login and use the system.
Getting your Access Key
The Abstract Submission System will require you to provide your contact
details. Please note that the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are
compulsory.
Please make sure you enter your email address correctly, since your
Access Key and confirmation of the submitted abstract/s will be sent to
you by email. Once you have completed the necessary details, please
click the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page.
Submitting your abstract
The Abstract Submission System will now require information about the
abstract to be submitted:
Title: of your abstract
Preferred presentation type: please select
your preferred presentation type; platform/poster. Please note that the
final presentation type will be determined by the Scientific Advisory
Committee
Category: please select the category from
the list displayed in the drop down menu. The categories for the 28th
Congress on Epileptology are:
• Adult epileptology
• Alternative therapies
• Basic sciences
• Clinical neurophysiology
• Drug therapy
• Epilepsy surgery
• Genetics
• Neuroimaging
• Neuropsychology
• Paediatric epileptology
• Psychiatry

Abstract Text: Please copy and paste your
abstract here to contain no more than 250 words.
Please ensure the abstract you are submitting is the final version. You
will not be permitted to make any changes once you have submitted the
abstract.
Author information: please enter FULL
FIRST NAME and LAST NAME of the abstract authors. Please click on the
“Presenting” column to indicate who will be presenting the abstract at
the congress. Please note that ONLY ONE PRESENTING AUTHOR should be
selected. The “Affiliation Nos.” must correspond to the affiliation
information requested further down the page
Affiliation: please indicate FULL NAME OF
THE INSTITUTION, CITY and COUNTRY, and enter the “Affiliation Nos.” in
the author’s information accordingly
Once this information is completed please click the “Continue” button
at the bottom of the page.
The abstract submission system will now show a summary of all the
details entered. Please edit any incorrect details here, as changes
cannot be made once the information has been processed.
The “continue” button will process your details and provide you with
your Access Key. Once you receive your Access Key you will be able to
log in and view abstracts already uploaded.
